S.T. Dupont lighter repair from €45
We are an independent workshop specialising in luxury lighters. We repair and service the usual S.T. Dupont generations — Line 1 BR/BS, Line 2 (large and small), Gatsby, Hammer, Cylinder and special models — in gold plate or solid gold, silver and palladium. We also work on other luxury brands such as Cartier and Dunhill.
The four faults we see most often are gas leaks, no flame, no spark and the lighter won't take gas when refilled. The process is always the same: full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, new seals and filter, flame calibration and a 24-hour pressure test.
The service is handled entirely by post. You send the lighter, we assess it, and if it can be repaired we repair it — payment is made once the work is finished. Current offer: we pay the return shipping.

These are indicative rates for repair and cleaning. If a specific part needs replacing after inspection, we tell you before going ahead. Typical turnaround: 7–14 working days from receipt.
What is and isn't included
Included:
- Assessment with no obligation.
- Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning.

- 6-month warranty on labour and seals.
Not included:
- Chinese lacquer restoration (we do not do it).
- Gold or silver re-plating.
- Replacement of damaged external parts (caps, bases).
How it works
- Write to us with the model and the fault (leaking gas, no flame, no spark, won't refill…).
- Post the lighter to us, well packed. We send you the address and packing instructions.
- We receive and assess it. If it can be repaired, we confirm the rate before starting.
- We repair, clean and test the lighter (24-hour pressure test).
- You pay once the repair is finished and we send it back — return shipping is on us.

Frequently asked questions
- My S.T. Dupont leaks gas and won't light — can it be repaired?
- In most cases, yes. Gas leaks and ignition failures are usually solved by full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning and replacement of the seals and filter. Repairs start at €45 (Line 1 BR/BS). If we find it cannot be repaired, we tell you before touching anything.

- The usual S.T. Dupont generations: Line 1 BR and BS, Line 2 (large and small), Gatsby, Hammer, Cylinder and special models, including limited editions and table lighters. We also work on other luxury brands such as Cartier and Dunhill.
- What is not included?
- We do not restore Chinese lacquer finishes, we do not re-plate gold or silver, and we do not replace damaged external parts such as caps or bases.
- How long does it take, and is there a warranty?
- Typically 7 to 14 working days from the moment we receive the lighter. Repairs carry a 6-month warranty on labour and on the seals we install.
